Anyone that does work on the MEP’s (Which Plumbing is the P) has to be liecesned or work under someone with a liencses by law…However if the owner of the home wants you too then whatever as long as you take responsability for anything that goes wrong or could go wrong in the future from the work you do….
You need to be a licensed Plumber to do work for anyone besides yourself. I would advise having insurance also. Those people that are grateful that work so cheap, will also sue you in a heartbeat if something goes wrong. Even if it isn’t your fault.
Why would you want to get anyone to fix your plumbing other than a master plumber; no matter what the residence is?
